The Rose Fund is a dedicated tax voted on in 2000 by the residents of Bloomingdale.
The ROSE (Recreation and Open SpacE Tax fund generates approximately $125,000 per year to be used for the purchase of open space, recreation maintenance and other recreation based projects.
The Rose Committee has two annual public meetings for the purpose of obtaining input from the residents of Bloomingdale. The committee authors and then presents a report containing recommendations to the Mayor and Council.
The ROSE Fund committee members are :

The second and final meeting is March 27 2008 at 7 PM in the Council Chambers at Boro Hall.
