Please be advised that the last day to register in order to vote in the February 5, 2008 Presidental Primary Election is January 15, 2008. The Municipal Clerk’s Office, 101 Hamburg Turnpike, Bloomingdale, NJ, will be open until 8:00 PM.

To be eligible to vote, residents must be at least 18 years old, citizens of the United States, must have lived in Passaic County for 30 days and must have registered at least 30 days before the election.

Absentee ballot applications are available at the Office of the Municipal Clerk or County Clerk in Paterson and must be received by the County Clerk at least seven days prior to the election (January 29, 2008); after that date, an absentee ballot must be applied for at the County Clerk’s office up until 3:00 PM the day before the election.
